On the AM 120 MKII, this control is used to
adjust the audio level of the phones feed,
to be sent to the Phones output, which can
be used in conjunction with headphones
or, if required, as an auxiliary output. On
the AM 220, however, this output control
not only the phones level, but the signal
level sent to the Control Room output also,
for use in monitoring, as side fill, or for the
addition of other, external devices.

MKII features a totary-style level control, whereas the AM 220
features a 60 mm fade.

Both the AM 120 MKII and AM 220 feature a dual 4 segment
level indicator.
