The induction hob is making an
Your induction hob may make the
unusual noise
following noises when turned on:
- cracking noises, these may be caused
by utensils/pots and pans made from
materials that are not suitable for an
induction hob or that are of low quality.
- hissing noises, these may occur when
using one or more cooking areas at
high power and pots/pans made out of
different materials.
- humming, this may occur when you are
using a large heated area.
- clicking noises, these may be heard
when electronic switching occurs
- hissing and humming, may occur when
the ventilator is on.
I can hear a noise after turning off
This noise is normal and may be caused
the appliance.

The fan will turn off automatically.
1. Place the protection mat over the correct area
of the hob.
2. Check that the mat is correctly lined up with
the marks on the hob.
3. Contact an authorised assistance centre.
If the above suggestions do not resolve the issue,
we recommend that you request a visit from an
assistance technician.
1. Place the pot/pan in the correct position
on the hob, in accordance with the position
described in the manual.
2. Reposition the pot/pan on the hob or, if you
have finished cooking, turn off the induction
hob.
3. Use pots/pans that are suitable for induction
hobs; you can check this by simply using a
magnet.
4. Contact an authorised assistance centre.
If the above suggestions do not resolve the issue,
we recommend that you request a visit from an
assistance technician.
