USING THE KITCHEN SCALE
Place the kitchen scale on a flat surface.
Press the ON/OFF/TARE button (2) to
turn the kitchen scale on. The display
shows 0 and the selected weight unit.
You can change between weighing
in g, kg, lb or oz by pressing the UNIT
button (4).
If a "-" appears on the display, this
means that the kitchen scale is not on
a flat surface. Place it on a flat surface
before you continue using it.
Place the item to be weighed on the
weighing plate (1). Wait a moment and
then read off the weight on the display.
If you are using a bowl to weigh
something (e.g. flour or sugar), use the
tare function: Press the ON/OFF/TARE
button (2) to turn the kitchen scale on.
The display shows 0 and the selected
weight unit.
Place the bowl on the weighing plate.
Wait a moment and then read off the
weight on the display. Press the ON/
OFF/TARE button briefly to reset the
scale.
Fill the bowl with the ingredient to be
weighed while it is on the weighing
plate.
Wait a moment and then read off the
weight on the display.
You can repeat the tare procedure and
so weigh all the ingredients in the same
bowl.
If you remove the bowl from the
weighing plate, the weight of the bowl
will be shown as a negative value on
the display. When you replace the bowl,
the display will again show 0.
Press and hold the ON/OFF/TARE
button to turn off the kitchen scale after
use. If you do not switch off the kitchen
scale, it will automatically switch off
after 2 minutes.
ERROR MESSAGES
If "EEEE" is shown on the display, the
kitchen scale is overloaded. Remove
what is on the weighing plate.
If the battery symbol appears on the
display, the battery needs replacing.
USING A TIMER
The timer can be placed upright using
the support base or suspended on a
metal surface using the magnet (8).
Countdown
Press the START/STOP button (7) to
switch the timer on. Press the M (5) and
S (6) buttons to adjust the countdown
to a maximum of 99 minutes and 59
seconds. Press the M and S buttons at
the same time to reset the timer.
Press the START/STOP button to start
the countdown.
Once the set time has elapsed, the
alarm will sound for 30 seconds. Press
any button to turn off the alarm.
Timing
Press the START/STOP button (7) to
switch the timer on. Press the START/
STOP button again to stop timing. The
timer counts up to a maximum of 99
minutes and 59 seconds.
Press the START/STOP button to stop
timing.
Press the START/STOP button again to
restart timing. Press the M and S but-
tons at the same time to reset the timer.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wipe the parts of the set regularly with
a well-wrung cloth. Avoid using abra-
sive or aggressive cleaning agents. Do
not expose the parts to water.
Remove the batteries if you do not
intend to use the parts of the set for a
prolonged period.
