11.2. Connecting the suction system
The suction system is delivered partially assembled, protected and boxed. Its purpose is to drag the leaves from
the trimmer to a filter made with a special fabric that prevents any type of element (flowers, resin) from coming out
through its walls.
It is only necessary to place the other end of the hose to the outlet of the main hopper of the machines and secure
it with the flange supplied. The installation should look like the one shown in the picture below.
11.3. Checks to be carried out before connecting
The following are a series of checks that must be carried out before the equipment is connected to the power su-
pply, put them into operation and start working with them:
- Check for general damages.
- Check that the inclination of the equipment is correct and that the equipment is locked.
- Ensure that the main hopper of the machines is correctly positioned and fixed
- Check that the suction hose is correctly positioned and fastened.
- Check that all trimming blocks are properly aligned and locked.
- Check that the two locking levers, one on each side of the front panel, are in the locked position.
- Check that the brush is securely fastened in the clips of the swinging gate supports.
- Check that the barrel is correctly positioned on the raceways.
- Check that the barrel is correctly oriented and mounted on top of the cutter blocks. The toothed end must
engage with the pinion.
- Check that the main swing gate is properly closed.
- Check that the inlet hopper, if present, does not collide with the tilt gate or the end of the barrel.
- Check that the emergency stop switch is unlocked.
- Check that the LED on the reset switch is deactivated, i.e., switched off.
- Check that the power cable does not form loops that could cause tripping.
Any damaged parts, including guards, must be repaired or replaced immediately. Contact the MASTER PRODUCTS

11.4. Connecting the machine
Once you have read and understood this user and maintenance manual and have carried out all the necessary
steps, you can connect the machines and the suction systems to the mains power supply. For this, press the two
green ON buttons on the main control panel to activate the barrel and the trimming reels and finally the on/off
switch for the suction system.
