13. Security
The machines are equipped with two safety devices that guarantee the protection of the operator at all times during
use.
The first of these consists of a coded magnetic actuator. When the main swing gate is properly closed, the two parts of
the actuator are in contact and the machines are allowed to start. As soon as the gate is opened by the front closure,
the two parts of the actuator are no longer in contact and the machines are automatically stopped and switched off.
In this case, the machines must be reset in order to resume the use of the machines.
The second device is an inductive sensor to detect the presence or absence of the barrel. It is located under the
non-driving end of the barrel. When the inductive sensor detects the presence of the barrel, the machines can be
switched on and run, otherwise they cannot.
As a safety measure, if one of the following conditions is met:
- An unexpected power failure.
- An opening of the main swing gate.
- An overheating or engine anomaly.
The equipment switches to the reset state and the motors of the machines are switched off and remain switched off,
even if the power is restored or the green ON-switches are pressed.
The machines, also have an emergency stop button that allows the machines to be stopped at any time. In the emer-
gency stop state, the motors are switched off and remain switched off, even if the power supply is resumed or the
green ON switches are pressed.
14. Maintenance
It is essential to read and understand the instructions in this manual before carrying
out maintenance work on the machines. Failure to comply with all instructions may
result in serious damage and injury to users and equipment.
Maintenance work must always be carried out when the machines are stopped and the
power is switched off. Always wear protective gloves when carrying out maintenance work.
