OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. For maximum water flow,
it is recommended that the largest
tubing size for your pump is used. If
needed, cut the adapter as shown
using a hacksaw; consult packaging
for tubing size.
Step 2. There are two inlets on the
spillway. You will only install tubing
on one of the inlets. Option 1 is the
preferred installation method, but
Option 2 may be used based on
install.
Attach the adapter and gasket to
the inlet you wish to use. Place the
cap and gasket on the inlet not
being used.
Slip the hose clamp onto the tubing
but do not tighten it. Connect the
tubing to the adapter.
NOTE: Tubing is NOT INCLUDED.
Step 3. Tighten the hose clamp
using a flathead screwdriver.
This Waterfall Spillway can be used in a pond, a retaining wall,
or in a disappearing water feature. Visit www.totalpond.com to
find steps on how to build each project.
Once you have properly placed the spillway and connected your
pump you may proceed to Step 4.
Step 4. Connect the spillway to the
transformer by pushing the plug into
the spillway socket and hand tighten
the nut around the plug and socket to
secure.
Step 5. Plug the transformer into a
properly grounded electrical outlet.

MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING
Always disconnect units from the power source before
beginning any maintenance or work on the unit.
• Clean the spillway regularly depending upon the
environment in which it is operated.
• Clean the spillway when it is visibly soiled or when a drop in
performance is detected.
• Use a dryer brush to clean the inside of the spillway. We
recommend using a 10 inch long brush, approximately 1 inch
thick or any brush that will fit inside the front of the spillway
opening.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IF THE LIGHT FAILS TO ILLUMINATE:
• Check that it is getting power by testing another appliance in
the same power outlet.
IF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SPILLWAY IS NOT
SATISFACTORY
• Check the spillway, tubing, and pump inlet for kinks or
obstructions.
• Refer to the pump's manual for further troubleshooting.
