Always disconnect units from the power source before
beginning any maintenance or work on the unit.
• Remove the string from the hook to remove the pumpshield
Clean the pumpshield
environment in which it is operated. A drop in water flow is
an indication that your pumpshield
require cleaning. The pumpshield
floating fountain but significantly reduces the need for
floating fountain maintenance.
• Remove any large debris from pumpshield
hose to rinse off any other dirt from the pumpshield
To maximize the performance of the floating fountain,
periodically disassemble to clean dirt and debris. When you
notice a reduced flow from the fountain, this is a good indicator
that it is time to clean the fountain.
Step 1. Before cleaning,
always disconnect from the
power source.
Step 2. Remove the string
from the hook to remove
the pumpshield
Step 3. Turn the floating
fountain upside down.
Remove the locking screw
as shown.
Step 4. Twist the top
section counterclockwise.
Then pull the top section
from the lower by
removing the tubing from
the top section. You will
need to unscrew the wire
connector on the inside of
the fountain to fully remove
the top of the fountain
from the bottom.
