5. Operating display

After the simalube lubicrator's warm-up time, the IMPULSE will be supplied
continuously with lubricant and the device switches into normal operating mode.
The green LED blinks 10 seconds during the entire dispensing time. Errors are
indicated by a blinking red LED. An error status is indicated for as long as the
error exists. If no LED is blinking, the device is not in operation, is faulty or the
battery is completely empty. Inspections are recommended on a weekly basis if
a dispensing time of 1 month is set, every 2–3 weeks for a dispensing time of 3
months and on a monthly basis for a dispensing time of more than 3 months.

1× OK – normal operation
2× Start mode
(wait until simalube pumps lubricant)
6. Replacing the lubricator

Unscrew the empty lubricator and either replace or refill it. When doing so,
follow the instructions in the simalube user manual.

Remove the used battery pack and replace it with a new one.

Check and clean the seal on the IMPULSE before inserting the new battery
pack. The IMPULSE remains at the lubrication point and can be reused
multiple times.

7. Disposal
Used battery packs and simalube gas generators must be recycled in a battery
recycling system. Do not reuse, charge, open or throw batteries in a fire. The
IMPULSE device (without the battery pack) must be disposed of in accordance
with Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE).
Protect the environment by recycling valuable resources and observe your coun-
try's disposal directives.
8. Maintenance
The IMPULSE is maintenance-free. When replacing the lubricator, check the
housing and gasket and wipe them clean. If cracks appear in the housing of the
IMPULSE, the device must be disposed of.
