oPerAtIon - Use
•
Always use popcorn maize to prepare popcorn.
•
Do not add other ingredients, such as butter or oil, to the popping chamber.
•
Do not leave the appliance switched on for more than necessary. If you do so the appliance may
overheat and activate the overheating safeguard. Should the safeguard be activated allow the
appliance to cool down completely before using it again.
1. Fill the measuring scoop with popcorn maize, and sprinkle the popcorn maize into the popping
chamber. Do not add more than one measuring scoop of popcorn maize. Do not add any other
ingredients to the popping chamber.
2. Fit the lid to the popping chamber, and fit the measuring scoop to the lid. If you so wish, you can put a
pat of butter in the measuring scoop to melt it.
3. Put a bowl under the opening in the lid.
4. Put the plug into the wall socket.
5. Switch on the appliance by setting the On/Off switch to 'I'. After a few minutes most maize kernels will
pop and fall into the bowl.
6. Switch off the appliance by setting the On/Off switch to '0'.
7. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
8. Allow the appliance to cool for about 10 minutes before using it again.
9. Maize kernels may remain behind in the popping chamber. Allow the appliance to cool, and then
remove them immediately. This will prevent any food residues from baking onto the interior of the
popping chamber.
You will now have prepared a full bowl of delicious popcorn. If you wish, you can bring your popcorn to
taste using the molten butter in the measuring scoop; you can also add sugar or salt.
