▪ The supply voltage at the reader's connector should be between +7 Vdc and +28 Vdc.
▪ Recommended distance between two readers: parallel plane: 11.8 in – same plane: 15.8 in – perpendicular plane: 9.8 in.
▪ Use a ferrite (two-way) for the cable (power supply and data).
For data signals, 10k pull-up resistors are connected internally to Vin (power supply voltage) for optimal wiring distances.

Depending on the version of the SE2 electronic board, the readers are fitted directly or not with pull-up / pull-down resistors on the electronic
board. The board version can be found on the label:
Earlier versions of electronic board and LEGIC electronic board (SE2L) require the wiring of resistors R1 and R2 (1.5 kΩ resistors supplied) to
use the extended features of the RS485 Bus: FAIL-SAFE (see RS485-AN-960).
