Safety Instructions
Carefully read the instructions in this user manual as they contain important information about the use of the
device and your security. Ignoring the instructions in this user manual may void the warranty.
Never use a damaged machine.
Have a qualified technician maintain and repair the device.
The user may connect and start the device provided that the user respects all instructions and official
regulations concerning the domestic use of gas in confined areas. However, we recommend consulting a
qualified technician before using the device.
Keep this manual for further reference and in case the device will be used by another person than yourself.
Should you lose this manual, do not hesitate to contact your dealer and ask a new copy.

Safety Recommendations
Do not install the gas heater in corners or at a distance of less than 20 cm from a wall. Do not install a
switched-on gas heater near curtains, bed linen, furniture, wooden panels or other flammable objects which
can become damaged by heat. Always aim the front of the gas heater toward the centre of the room.
Do not use the gas heater in vehicles such as caravans and motorhomes.
The grid of this gas heater helps to prevent risks caused by fire such as burns. Never remove this grid or
any other part of this gas heater. The grid will not guarantee total protection against burns.
Do not store or use flammable materials, liquids or objects near a switched-on gas heater.
Do not expose the gas cylinder to direct sunlight or a heat source.
Do not use the gas heater in sleeping rooms, bathrooms, cellars or high-ceiling rooms.
Keep children away from a switched-on gas heater.
Close the pressure regulator after having switched off the gas heater.
Should you smell gas, carefully respect following operation guidelines:
close the pressure regulator,
o
open all windows in the room,
o
do not switch on any electrical devices or operate electrical switches, and extinguish any open flame,
o
consult a qualified technician.
o
Never use the gas heater without its protective grid. Make sure the gas hose has not expired the date
marked on the hose itself.
Do not move a switch-on gas heater as shocks may trigger the safety mechanism.

Operation Guidelines
It is important to follow the guidelines and legal regulations in force concerning the installation and use of this
gas heater. We recommend consulting a qualified technician. However, if you decide to ignore consulting a
qualified technician, please consider the following important guidelines:
About the Rooms
The rooms where this gas heater will be used in must be equipped with a ventilation opening of at least
50 cm². In addition, the rooms must be at least 8 m³ while the furniture must not take more than 2 m³ of
space.
The rooms must have an opening window or door with a minimum width of 2 m.
We recommend not using this gas heater in rooms where aerosols are frequently being used.
