The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
2.
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled
on unintentionally by children or the user.

Unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove all packaging materials, including
any stickers or labels.

Remove any unmountable accessories from the appliance.
3.
Fill the pot with water until MAX level. Turn on the appliance and allow water to
boil.
4.
Discard the water very carefully and rinse with cold water.
5.
Choose an adequate place for the appliance.
6.
Do not place the appliance under any cabinets or too close to the wall to allow
for the heat to flow without damaging the surrounding space.
7.
Plug in the appliance to a wall outlet.
CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental
burns, scalping, or steam being released while cooking, always
manipulate the appliance by using an oven mitt.
