6. If the calcification becomes a thick film on the bottom or walls of the pot, you
can eliminate it by using a commercial softener and follow the instructions. You
may also add a cup of white vinegar in the pot, fill with water up to the MAX line,
and boil. Once boiled, very carefully dispose of the water and vinegar and wipe
with a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly.
