6.3 STARTING TO CUT
To use the machine as a cutter, proceed as follows:
CONTINUOUS CUTTING
1
Remove all the bolts, shells and pivots that are on the bending plate.
2
Lift the safeguard off the blades A, Fig.12 and introduce the bar in the cutting throat, lower the
safeguard and press the pedal. (The blade will not stop getting in and out until we release the
pedal).
DISCONTINUOUS CUTTING
To obtain a cutting in cycles, you can prepare the machine, placing an inversion pivot P, Fig.13 right in the
interior, small hole in the end of course of the plate exactly when the blades close.
WARNING: Never use the machine for cutting and bending at the same time as this presents a
great risk to accidents and an over effort for the motor and the reducer causing serious damages.
7. SPECIAL ACCESSORIES
The bending machines come with optional accessories, designed for the implementation of various functions
such as:
1.
This device has been designed to make stirrups with an inferior ratio thanks to its special bolt
(B, Fig.14), A ruler has also been incorporated (R) with two caps (T1 & T2, Fig.14) to make stirrups on
measurement.
1.
SPIRALS DEVICE: This device has been designed to make stirrups in spiral forms. We can introduce
bars from 6 to 20mm easy to adjust (A, Fig.15). The spiral diameter is also adjustable (B, Fig.15) with
a maximum diameter capacity of 5 m. The spiral pass is another point that can be adjusted (C, Fig.15).
3. BIG RATIOS DEVICE: This device has been designed to bend bars with a ratio in conformity with the
European bending norms. It is compound of a number of accessories and mandrills a minimal ratio specific for each
bar diameter (Fig. 16).
4. ENTRANCE ROLLERS KIT: This kit has been designed to make it easy to slip the bars and protect the
working tale from premature wear-out that can be caused by rubbing the bar (Fig.17).
8. MANTENANCE, INSPECTION AND CONTROL
1
First oil change at 500 hours of use if it is mineral, subsequently at the end of 2000/5000 hours of work
or three years regardless of the hours of operation of the machine; or at the end of 20,000 hours in
case of synthetic oil.
2
Lubricate weekly with calcium grease the holes where the bolts are housed and the bottom of the bolt
to avoid corrosion.
3
At the end of each day, unplug the machine.
4
If the machine is not covered, wrap it with an impermeable cloth.
5
When necessary, remove the remains of material that have fallen inside the machine.
6
Regularly clean the visible parts and grease the holes in the table, bending plate and bolts.
7
Control periodically (Each 8 days of use) the efficiency of the cutting blades. In case you need to
replace it, proceed as explained in this manual.
8
Control periodically (Monthly control) the level of oil by the oil throttle B, Fig. 18 and if its level is
below the stopper, top up. A, Fig.18. You need to remove the stopper to empty the oil C, Fig.18
9
For the COMBI model, there another point of lubrication, that is the connecting rod. The latter should be
lubricated approximately each 20 days, depending on the frequency of us (D, Fig. 18 & A, Fig. 19)
WARNING: Before performing any maintenance or cleaning, the power supply cable needs to be
unplugged.
