Put the machine with the backside of the cap at the wall or
floor so that blade is still free. Before pressing the machine
into the material, switch on the machine and leave the blade
running freely to enable it to reach the maximum speed.
Please check if the blade is not turning centrically and is not
swinging.
Before taking the diamond blade out of the saw cut, wait until
the diamond blade is standing still. It is dangerous to block or
to slow down the turning blade by using lateral pressure.
Do not cut curves. Use a lath as saw conduction.
In case of vertical cuts put in the machine at the top and lower
it by its own weight helped by the hands. The water
connection has to be on the top.
9. PREVENT OVERLOAD
Take care that the speed of the motor does not drop to much.
Give the blade time to cut.
The machine is equipped with a relay switching off the
machine in case of overloading. After a short break the relay
can be switched on again. The machine must run now without
charge to cool. If the relay often switches off, we advice you to
cut less deep or to put less pressure on the machine.
10. PREVENT THAT WATER COMES INTO THE MACHINE
In case of horizontal cuts, the motor must be above the
diamond blade. (fig. 1)
In case of vertical cuts the hose connection needs to be at the
top of the protection cap, so that the water will be under the
machine (fig. 2)
By cutting in floors the motor absorbs in a lot of water haze. It
is advisable to fix a flexible hose (± Ø 100 mm, length 2
meter) at the suction opening of the motor frame, so that more
dry air will be taken in.

11. REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES.
In case of worn carbon brushes of the W-3511 LASER, these
switch off automatically. This machine can not be switch on
anymore. For further use it is necessary to replace the carbon
brushes.
It is desirable to check the wear of the carbon brushes after
100 effective working hours. Moreover check the carbon
brushes if these can still move freely in the brush holders.
Procedure:
Pull the plug out of the wall socket.
Take out the caps of the carbon brushes by using a
screwdriver and take the carbon brushes out of the machine.
If necessary, replace the carbon brushes.
Screw the caps of the carbon brushes into the machine again.
Switch on the machine and leave it running freely (approx. 10
minutes) before using it again.
12. MAINTENANCE
The wall-saw machine W-3511 LASER only needs a limited
maintenance.
It is desirable to often clean the interior with compressed air
after finishing the job.
Make sure the vent hole of the motor frame is kept fee and
clean.
Check the flexibility of the synthetic guide rollers. The roller
can be cleaned by removing the safety ring and pulling out the
roll of the axe.
Checking the machine by a specialist is advisable after 300
working hours.
Only use original spare parts.
13. FAILURES
The electromotor doesn't start up:
1.
Check the mains voltage and/or the electrical
connection of the motor.
2.
Check if the PRCD switch is in the ON-position.
3.
Check if the cables are correctly connected.
Check if the carbon brushes aren't worn
4.
out.(chapter 11)
The electromotor starts up, but the blade doesn't turn:
1.
Check if the bolt is tightened sufficiently on the
flange set.
2.
Check if the gear wheel transmission functions well.
Turn around the driven shaft and attentively listen if
the anchor revolves simultaneously. If this is not the
case, please contact a specialist to check the
machine.
The diamond blade is running but swings:
1.
Check if the flanges and the centre of the blade are
clean. Remove visible dirt.
2.
Check the straightness of the blade. In case of
doubt contact your supplier.
3.
In case of oscillation by clearance on the bearing or
a bent centre, also contact the supplier. Working
with a swinging blade can lead to dangerous
situations.
The diamond blade cuts too slowly.
1.
Check the saw depth. Cutting in concrete or stone
has to be done in parts of 4 until 6 cm. Depending
of the hardness of the stone (medium hard,
abrasive stone material) a 5 until 8 cm saw depth is
possible.
The blade is blunt if:
