OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM

SYSTEM ENGAGED
In this state your monitor is unable to perform any function, except if it has a separate power
supply, in which case you can only consult recordings
. If you hold down any button while the system is engaged, the status indicator (5) will blink;
and if you pick up the receiver (1), you will hear beeping tones until the system ceases to be
engaged.
NO CALL BEING MADE. MONITOR ON STANDBY
If the monitor is not receiving a call, the door-opening function and the function allowing
communication with the entrance panel are disabled. In this standby state, it is possible to
call the concierge unit
menu and recordings menu
heard in the receiver.
RECEIVING A CALL. MONITOR ACTIVE
When a call is received from the entrance panel, the monitor will emit a warning sound. Next,
the screen will turn on, displaying the image of the person who has made the call. You will
have a set time to answer. How much time will depend on the type of entrance panel from
which the call has been made.
By picking up the receiver, you will establish communication with the caller. The maximum
length of time allowed for conversation will also depend on the type of entrance panel from
which the call has been made.
A few seconds before the time allowed for conversation elapses, you will hear a series
of beeps. The conversation time can be prolonged: from your dwelling, by pressing and
releasing the hang-up button on the monitor; or from the entrance panel, by having the visitor
call again. When the conversation is over and the receiver has been replaced, the monitor
will revert to being on standby.
To open the street door and allow entry to your property, press the door-opening button
during the conversation. Hold the button down as long as necessary, releasing it only when
your visitor has entered. For the moment you release the button, the door-opening function
will remain active for approximately three more seconds.
During the times allowed for answering and conversing, the system will not permit any other
monitor to perform automatic switch-on. On the other hand, if the other monitor has an
independent power supply, you can still consult memory
