Analysis
The diodes are working in the alternator/starter.
No undulation detected. Alternator malfunction. Replace it.
One or more diodes are not working or are damaged. Make sure that
the alternator support is properly positioned and that the timing belts
are working properly. If so, replace the alternator.

Check that the device is properly connected. The battery voltage is not high enough
to perform the test (<1.5 V).
Fully recharge the battery and try again.
Paper jam: the paper is not inserted correctly.
Out of printing paper: Insert paper.
Replace the batteries in the tester.
Analysis
The alternator's output voltage is abnormally high.
Check that there are no connection pro-blems.
If not, replace the alternator.
Alternator voltage output is normal. No problems
detected.
The alternator cannot provide enough current to
charge the electrical system and the battery. Check
the belts and make sure the alternator is running
when the engine is switched on. If the belts slip
or break, replace them and re-test. Check the
connection between the alternator and the battery.
If the connection is poor, clean or replace the cable
and re-test. If the belts and connection are in good
condition, then replace the alternator.
