2.2 Fast Ethernet Module: There are 3 available slots for Fast Ethernet Modules.
2.3 On Board Fixed Ports: 4 10/100/1000Mbps combo with 4 Gigabit SFP sockets.
2.4 Front Switch with Cap: Easy to turn on/off the switch after mounted to rack.
2.5 Digital Input/Output: 8 pin terminal block for Digital Input and Output.
2.6 AC/DC Socket: AC plug for 90-264VAC and DC input (24/48VDC or 88-370VDC).
2.7 RS232 Console: DB-9 RS232 console for out band management.
3. Mounting the Fast Ethernet Module
3.1 Turn off the switch by the front power switch.
3.2 Unlock the front plate of the slot and plug the Fast Ethernet Module into the socket.
3.3 Turn the captive screw to lock the module.
3.4 After locked the modules, turn on the switch.
Note: Each time when you plug or exchange
module, be noticed that you
should turn off the power
first.
4. Port number of slots:
There are 3 slots which provide maximum 24 ports. The slot 1 represents port 1 to 8; the
slot 2 represents port 9-16; the slot 3 represents port 17-24. Some of the modules only
support 6 ports, when plug in 6 ports module, the number of the first port of each slot still
starts from port 1, 9 and 17. The 4 On board Gigabit combo ports always represent port 25-28.
