4.6 PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Use approved protective equipment. Operators and all other persons in the working
area must wear protective equipment:
Helmet, hearing and eye protection, gloves and boots.

For the proper use of this device, please assure that the operator has been correctly informed
of the content of this manual before using it.
This machine must be used only under the applications for which it has been designed and
according to these safety instructions.
Do not touch any part of the vibrating group when the motor is running.
Do not work in an area exposed to flammable liquids or gases.
Please secure all the threads and bolts before working.
Do not stop the machine until the concrete mass is fully vibrated.
Do not work with the machine if any type of dysfunction, even small, has been observed.
Do not connect the flexible shaft to the motor when this is working.
Do not operate in the motor shaft when this is working and without transmission.
Do not work with transmission or poker in bad conditions, the motor overheats.
Do not permit untrained personnel to operate the motor or connections.
Read the engine manufacturer's manual before working.
Do not work in closed rooms, the exhaust fumes may be toxic.
Before refilling the fuel tank, stop the engine and let it cool down for a few minutes.
You must not smoke while the engine is running or while refueling.
Do not fill tank near an open flame and fill in a well ventilated area.
If fuel is spilled while refueling, soak it in sand. Change your clothing if fuel spills on it.
Make sure the fuel tank is tightly closed after refilling.
Check fuel tank and pipes for cracks and leaks.
Keep air input and output free.
Keep the engine clean and dry.
The sound power level of this machine can be higher than 80dB, therefore acoustic protection
equipment must be used.
The hand-arm transmitted vibration is less than 2.5 m/s2, with the engine at maximum revs
and the poker suspended in the air according to ISO5349 at 1.5m from the poker (K=1.5m/s2).
