Important information
This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Improper
use, application or insufficient cleaning and care can impair
safety and result in danger for the user. KÜCHENPROFI cannot
accept any responsibility for injuries or damage attributed to
improper use.
Safety instructions
Risk of burns!
The sensing probe and cable become very hot during
use! Always wear heat-protective gloves during or
immediately after use and do not touch these parts with
bare hands!
· Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
· Do not use the appliance in rain or areas with high humidity.
· Do not allow the plug or the connection socket on the housing
to be in contact with water or other liquids.
· Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids and
do not clean it in the dishwasher.
· Do not expose the appliance to direct heat or place it on or
near hot surfaces.
· Do not place the sensing probe or the cable in open flames
or glowing charcoal.
· Prevent the cable from coming into contact with hot surfaces
(e.g., rack, sidewalls) of the grill or the oven. Do not use the
appliance if the temperature in the grill or in the oven exceeds
300 °C / 572 °F.
· This thermometer is not suitable for monitoring the temperature
in the microwave.
· Always place the protective cap on the sensing probe when
storing the thermometer.
Before the first use
· Remove all packaging material.
· Open the battery compartment on the front side of the
thermometer by pushing the cover with slight pressure in the
direction of the arrow.
· Remove the security strip to activate the battery.
· Close the battery compartment.
· Clean the sensing probe with hot water and a mild detergent.
Afterwards dry it off thoroughly.
· Plug the connector of the cable into the connection socket of
the housing.
· The thermometer is now ready for use.
