When using the detector, hold the wire to the translucent sensing part. Do not go
over.
9.
Comply with local and national safety regulations and requirements.
10. The detector will not detect any voltage if:
• The wire is shielded, or the voltage is DC.
• The operator is not grounded or is isolated from an effective ground.
11. The detector may not detect any voltage if:
• The operator does not hold the detector.
• The operator is wearing gloves.
• The wire under test is partially buried or in a grounded metal conduit.
• The frequency of the detected voltage is not a perfect sine wave and may be
distorted by harmonics.
• The detector is used outside the operating specifications (see technical
specifications for details).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turning the detector on/off
Short press the
on the panel will light up, indicating that the detector is on and ready for use. The
default AC voltage detection range is 90-1000 V.
Long press the power button for 2 seconds to turn off the detector. The detector will
auto power off when idle for 5 minutes.
2. Turning the flashlight on/off
Short press the
when the detector is idle for 5 minutes.
3. AC voltage detection
Place the sensor head near the test object or the power socket with AC voltage.
When AC voltage is detected, the red LED in the tip will light, and the buzzer will
sound. The buzzer and sensing LED frequencies increase as the detector gets closer
to the test object.
Note: Please unplug other electrical devices from the socket before detector use.
