Safety instructions

WARNING! Read and observe all infor­
mation and safety instructions. Failure to
observe the information and safety instructions
may lead to electric shocks, fires and/or seri­
ous injuries.
Keep all safety information and instructions
for future reference.
- This charger may only be operated by per­
sons, including children, with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
a lack of practical experience and knowl­
edge, provided they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety or have
been instructed to use the charger safely
by this person. Children should always be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the charger.
- This charger can be operated by children
over eight years of age and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capa­
bilities or a lack of practical experience and

- Do not open the charger.
- Protect the charger from metal compo­
nents (e.g. swarf) and liquids.
- WARNING! Do not use non-rechargeable
batteries with this charger.
- Do not use power supply units or battery
packs from other manufacturers to oper­
ate cordless power tools. Do not use
chargers from other manufacturers to
charge the battery packs. The use of ac­
cessories not expressly authorised by the
manufacturer can result in electric shocks
and/or serious accidents.
- Protect the machine from moisture.
- Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
- Check the plug and the cable regularly in
order to prevent a hazard. In the event of
damage, these must be replaced by an au­
thorised service workshop only.
- Do not cover vent openings on the charg­
er. The charger may overheat and not work
properly.
- There is a risk of vapours being released if
the battery pack is damaged or not used
correctly. The vapours may irritate your
airways. Seek fresh air and consult a doc­
tor if you feel unwell.
