If the signals received from the robot system have clean contacts, supply power to the inputs of RI1000, using the power supplies
on the CN3-12 connector as shown on the diagram.
START: command signal for powering the electrical arc.
0V = arc ON
24V = arc OFF
WIRE FORWARD: wire extension command signal. The extension speed corresponds to the value set
by the operator. Wire extension stays active for the entire "command active" time.
0V = wire extended
24V = wire not extended
WIRE BACK: wire retraction command signal. Wire retraction speed is 1m/min and retraction time is 1s.
0V = wire back active
24V = wire back inactive
AIR TEST: command signal for opening the air circuit solenoid-valve. The solenoid-valve stays open
for the entire "command active" time.
0V = air flow
24V = no air flow
GAS TEST: command signal for opening the gas circuit solenoid-valve. The solenoid-valve stays open
for the entire "command active" time.
0V = test active
24V = test inactive
EMERGENCY: command signal for total shut-down of the welding process. For connection to the
system's safety devices.
0V = system operating normally
24V = system in alarm status
