Canister
To vacuum pack a canister or tray. Note that this function only works in conjunction with a canister or
tray.
2.
Vac Seal
Pulls the air out of the bag and automatically seals it when the vacuum process is complete.
3.
Mode
Can be used on 2 modes; normal and soft. The soft setting is suitable for crumbly foods (such as pota-
to chips). The indicator light shows which mode is on. By pressing the Seal button, you can manually set
the vacuum process and seal the bag directly. Note that if the power goes out, the setting will automati-
cally change to normal.
4.
Food
Can be used on 2 modes; dry and moist. Choose the appropriate setting based on the food you are
using.
5.
Seal
Has 3 functions; 1) Stops the vacuum process immediately and seals the bag. This prevents delicate
food items such as bread, cookies and cakes from being flattened, 2) Seals each bag from the roll of
vacuum film, 3) Seals Mylar bags (such as potato chip bags).
6.
Stop
Immediately stops any function currently in progress.
7.
Accessory port
Insert one end of the vacuum tube into this port and the other end into a Tupperware container, wine
stopper or other accessory, for example.
Vacuuming with trays or canisters
1.
Put the items in the tray or canister and put the lid on.
2.
Insert one end of the vacuum hose into the accessory port in the product and the other end into the
opening on the lid of the container or canister.
3.
Press 'Canister' to start the vacuum process.
4.
Press 'Stop' if you want to stop the process immediately. When the vacuum process is finished, the
product will stop automatically.
5.
Disconnect the end of the hose that is in the lid first and then the end that is in the product.
