8. Power on the connected computers.

Previous versions of NetController KVM Switches may not support these
distances. If you experience problems when daisy-chaining within the max.
distance requirements, you may need to upgrade the firmware of your unit.
(See the manual CD for details on performing a firmware upgrade.)
Notes:
• A new hardware version (v2) of B040-008-19 was released in 2019, requiring
different firmware from the previous version (v1). The Support tab of the model
page on tripplite.com includes a zip folder for v2. It contains an FW Notes
file along with the applicable firmware to help you determine which hardware
version you have and which firmware to use. The current firmware comes pre-
installed on all v2 models. If you have a hardware version (v1) KVM, consult
Technical Support for the applicable firmware.
• If problems occur when daisy-chaining 8- or 16-port KVM switches, confirm
all switches have the same hardware version. If firmware is not up to date,
upgrade the firmware of your unit(s).
