TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
5.1
INTRODUCTION
The unit is delivered complete with all its mechanical and electrical parts and tested at the factory.
Equipment handling, transport and unpacking operations must be carried out by personnel who:
▪ are skilled and qualified for such operations;
▪ are trained and authorized by the Manufacturer;
▪ know the equipment, its components and the manual.
Make sure the devices used for lifting and transport can take the weight of the
equipment, specified on the dataplate and in this manual.
During transport and storage, avoid exposure to rain or persistent damp.
The unit must be moved only upright, using a trolley/forklift and resting on the
base.
Particular attention must be paid to the fire door and its glass in order to protect
them from mechanical impacts that compromise their integrity.
5.2
PACKING
5.2.1. PACKING HANDLING
Necessary equipment
▪ Forklift
The unit is delivered wrapped in nylon protection and packed on a pallet + wooden crate.
Upon collection of the unit, check:
▪ that the model matches the one ordered;
▪ for any damage due to transport.
Any claims must be notified to the carrier upon receipt.
For handling of the packed unit, proceed as follows:
Step
Insert the forks/base of the forklift into the appropriate seats

of the wooden crate.
Lift slowly, paying attention to the center of gravity of the

unit.
Put it in the chosen place, making sure it complies with the

requirements.
The truck forks/base must be of adequate length to support the weight of the unit.
Make sure to use lifting equipment suitable for its weight.
