Setting up the defibrillator
• Place defibrillator behind bungee cord and slide the
defibrillator all the way to the bottom of cabinet.
1. Slide in AED vertically.
2. Bungee cord to hold AED securely in
place.
TWO OPTIONS
FOR ALARM ACTIVATION
Option #1: Alarm is actived upon opening the
cabinet door.
When the door is closed - alarm is armed. When the
door is opened the alarm is activated.

• Insert the cable through the defibrillator handle.
• To arm the alarm:
Press the lock button (1)
Insert the cable into the hole (2)

When accessing AED, open cabinet door and when
defibrillator is removed alarm is activated by
disengaging cable.
Placing the seals
• The AIVIA is shipped with two sets of security
seals.
• The seals give evidence of the door opening.
• Regularly inspect the seals condition.
Seal placement
• Completely close the AIVIA door, making sure to
pull the bottom of the door towards you before
shutting the door.

• The surfaces must be clean, dry and free of any
grease.

• Remove the protective film from the seal.
• Stick the seal covering both the AIVIA door and
chassis.
• Seals must be placed on both sides of the AIVIA.
Pictograms
• The sequence printed on the AIVIA door
indicates the procedure to follow in case of
emergency.
Never
instructions.
• If the emergency call number is not written under
"S.O.S." or "Emergency" (eg. 911 for US and
Canada, 112 for EU...) make sure to write the
number to call under "S.O.S." or "Emergency".
