13. Hygiene Flush
☞
The hygiene flush has been factory-set in such a way that water will flow for 3
minutes every 24 hours. Both solenoid valve cartridges are opened.
During the hygiene flush, the temperature of the water flow depends on
– the cold water pressure,
– the hot water pressure,
– the hot water temperature.
To avoid scalding, the pressure difference between hot water and cold water may
not exceed a certain ratio. This ratio depends on the hot water temperature.
At a hot water temperature of 65°C, the hot water pressure may not exceed 1.5
times the cold water pressure.
You can adjust the hygiene flush parameters using the remote control (not part of the
scope of delivery, see
You can choose an interval of 1–255 hours in 1-hour increments for the hygiene
flush function. You can adjust the flow time from 1–255 seconds in 1-second incre-
ments.
The remote control can be used to set whether both solenoid valve cartridges should
open during hygiene flushing or only the cold water solenoid valve cartridge.
14. Thermal Disinfection
For this tap, there is the option of installing a thermal disinfection as a possible
treatment measure against bacterial contamination in the water pipe system.
Warning!
Personal protective measures (scald protection) must be implemented for the
duration of the thermal disinfection. This might include cordoning off the shower
facilities.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in injuries due to scalding.
The operator is responsible for the execution, monitoring, and logging (room,
tapping point, date, time, temperature and duration).
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for claims by third parties relating to
the improper execution of thermal disinfection on the part of the operator.
☞
At the factory, the thermal disinfection function is set so that the tap is cooled with
cold water for 1 minute after a 5 minute application time.
☞
Thermal disinfection can only be triggered using the remote control.
You can adjust the thermal disinfection parameters using the remote control (not part
of the scope of delivery, see
An application time of 1–255 minutes can be set in 1-minute increments for the
thermal disinfection process. The cooling time can be set to 1–255 min in 1-minute
increments.
