Review this information to ensure a
successful installation:
1. Install the light 8 - 16 ft. above the ground.
2. When installing two fixtures on one switch,
make sure the switch is rated for at least a 1 A
inductive.
3. Fixture can be wall or eave mounted.
4. To check if fixture is in the Wi-Fi range, go next
to the proposed installation location with your
mobile, and check that you are well connected
to Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) network. If the fixture is too far
away, it cannot connect. This is also true later on
if after pairing you move the fixture out of Wi-Fi
range, it will not be able to connect well.
5. Phone needs to be in the Bluetooth range of
the light fixture and connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
network while pairing.
2
INSTALLING the fixture:
1. TURN OFF THE ELECTRICITY (Fig 1)
• Verify the wall switch is in the OFF position.
• Turn off power at the circuit breaker that
supplies power to the outlet box you are
working on.
• For screw-in type fuses, unscrew the fuse
that supplies power to the outlet box you are
working on.
2. Line up the slotted holes on the mounting
bracket (B) with the holes on your junction box.
Using either (2) #6 screws or (2) #8 screws (C)
(depending on size of the holes in your recessed
junction box), attach the mounting bracket (B) to
your recessed junction box (Fig. 3).
3. Connect house ground wire to mounting bracket
ground wire using green screw provided (Fig. 3).
4. Connect fixture black wire to house black wire,
and fixture white wire to house white wire, using
the wire nuts (E) provided (Fig. 4).
5. Attach fixture (A) to the mounting bracket (B)
using fixture mounting screw with washer(D).
Be sure no loose wires remain sticking out from
underneath the fixture.
6. Move the heads to aim light where desired.
7. Apply silicone caulk around the edge of the cover
plate to provide a watertight seal from rain and
moisture.
8. Turn on power at main fuse/breaker box.
