MAINS WATER SUPPLY
!
Danger
Risk of injury! The appliance,
supply lines, high pressure
hose and connections must
be in perfect condition. If this
is not the case, the appliance
must not be used.
Connect the water supply
hose to the mains water sup-
ply (fig. 2A) and to the coupling
on the high pressure washer
(fig. 2B).
Use a reinforced hose with a
diameter of > 1".
Check that the mains water
supply provides a sufficient
quantity and pressure of water
to operate the high pressure
washer 2 - 8 BAR. (29 - 116
PSI). (See technical specifi-
cations table) Maximum inflow
water temperature 50°C.
(122 °F).
ASSEMBLING THE ACCESSORIES
!
Important
Risk of injury. Use only original accessories provided or autho-
rised by the Manufacturer. Mount the accessories only when
the appliance is off.
Connect the high pressure hose to the high pressure washer
(fig. 2C) and to the lance (fig. 3).
Information
The high pressure washer must be operated with clean
water.
!
Danger.
Dirty or sandy water, or water containing corrosive che-
micals or solvents seriously damage the high pressure
washer.
Failure to respect the above absolves the Manufacturer of all
English
liability and represents negligent use of the product.
Current regulations specify that the appliance may not be con-
nected to the drinking water supply unless a suitable system
separator is fitted.
Use a suitable EN 12729 type BA system separator.
Water passing through a system separator is no longer classi-
fied as drinking water.
Connecting to a container or tank:
A pressure pump is required to supply the high pressure washer
from a container or tank.
Do not connect the machine to a drinking water container.
C
Never suck up liquids containing solvents or acids in the pure
A
state, for example petrol, paint solvents or diesel. The spray
mist from the lance is highly inflammable, explosive and
B
poisonous.
Never use acetone, acids in the pure state and solvents as they
seriously damage the high pressure washer.
CONNECTING TO THE MAINS ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
The high pressure washer must be connected to the mains
FIG. 2
electricity supply by a qualified electrician able to operate in
respect of current standards and regulations.
Do not exceed the maximum permitted impedance for the
electrical connection point (see Technical Specification).
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage of the
high pressure washer as given on the rating plate.
- Unwind the cable fully from the cable reel to avoid overhea-
ting.
- The power cable must be protected from accidental cru-
shing.
FIG. 3
- Do not use the high pressure washer if the power cable is
damaged.
Do not use extensions to power the high pressure washer.
- The following fundamental rules must be observed when using
any electrical equipment:
- do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet
- do not use the equipment in bare feet or with unsuitable
clothing;
- do not pull the power cable or the appliance itself to unplug
the plug from the mains socket.
The high pressure washer is classified as a Class I appliance
for protection against electric shock.
Failure to respect the above absolves the Manufacturer of
all liability and represents negligent use of the product.
