Rate
A powerline network is influenced by
many factors. Here is how to contrib-
ute to a good data rate.
• Insert powerline devices directly into
wall outlets and not into multi-outlet
strips.
• The data rate in a powerline network
drops
- for connections over multiple
phases
- when junction boxes are located
on the path between your power-
line devices
- when the connection has to pass
through a circuit breaker, dimmer
or ballast
- whenever power drills or vacuum
cleaners are used
