5. Draining condensation water
When the air conditioner is not used for a longer period of time, remove the
rubber cap from the drain opening at the bottom of the appliance and place an
empty bucket under the outlet. The water will flow out of the tank.
This device has two drainage methods.
Manual drainage
1. When the appliance stops after the water tank is full,
turn of the appliance and unplug the power plug. Note:
Please move the appliance carefully so you do not spill
any water.
2. Place a water container below the side water outlet
behind the unit.
3. Unscrew the drainage cover.
4. Unplug the water plug.
5. The water will automatically flow into the water
container.
6. Insert the water plug again when no more water is
flowing out.
7. Switch the appliance on again.
Continuous discharge
1. See the Dehumidification function in Chapter 4.
Note:
1. Store the drainage cover and the water plug properly.
2. During drainage, the unit can be tilted slightly backwards.
3. Insert the water plug in the water outlet as soon as possible if the water
container cannot hold all the water.
4. When the water is discharged, insert the water plug and tighten the drainage
cover.
