SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Read and follow all instructions before operating the fan. Do not use the fan if any part is damaged
or missing.
•
To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose the fan to water or rain. To reduce the
risk of electrical shock, do not use this fan with any solid state speed control device.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
•
Never insert fingers or any other objects through the grille guard while the fan is in operation.
•
Disconnect the fan when moving it from one location to another.
•
Disconnect the fan when removing the guards for cleaning.
•
Make sure the fan is on a stable, flat surface while it is in operation.
•
Do not use the fan in a window. Rain and moisture could create an electrical hazard.
CAUTION
Do not alter the fan's assembly. Make sure the front and rear guard screws are completely screwed
down and in a locking position before operation.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
TO ADJUST AIRFLOW UPWARD OR DOWNWARD
Tilt the head of the fan to the desired angle. This high velocity fan can be used alone or in conjunction
with air conditioning. Rotating the fan head upward pulls air from the floor and circulates it throughout
the room.
SPEED CONTROL
Turn the switch to LOW, or HIGH to reach the desired speed. It is normal for the motor to feel warm to
touch after continuous operation. The motor is thermally protected and will automatically shut off when it
overheats for any reason. Should this occur, wait approximately 15 minutes for the fan to resume
operation.
MOVING FAN
Unplug the fan. Grasp the handle firmly &tilt the fan back onto its wheels. Roll fan to desired location.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Unplug the fan from the wall outlet before cleaning.
•
To clean, use a soft damp cloth. Wipe down with a dry cloth.
•
Do not use cleaning solutions that are harmful to paints or plastics.
•
Do not bend the blades.
•
The motor bearings are permanently sealed and do not require
additional lubrication.
