Fore/aft isolator
Under certain operating conditions, it is
advantageous to switch on the fore/aft
isolator. This helps better absorb impacts in
the direction of travel through the seat.
Position 0 = Fore/aft isolator OFF
Position 1 = Fore/aft isolator ON

After setting the fore/aft isolator into
position 0, the handle must be locked in the
desired position.
To do so, the seat must be pushed back until
it audibly locks into place.

Once the handle is locked, the fore/aft
isolator cannot be moved to a different
position.

By operating the switch, the degree of
curvature of the lateral guides to the left and
right of the seat cushion can be individually
adjusted.
This allows both the level of seat comfort to
be increased, and the performance level of
the driver to be sustained.
The air chambers are filled with compressed
air by setting the switch to "+" and emptied by
switching to "-".
If the curvature no longer changes when the
"+" switch is operated, this means the
maximum level has been reached and the
switch can be released.
