1. INSTALLATION
Before connecting
• Check that your appliance has not
been damaged during transportation
(e.g. door or joint distorted). In the
event of any damage whatsoever,
contact your provider before using
the appliance.
• Check the voltage. In the event of any
permanent subvoltage, (200-210 volts),
consult your electrical installer.
Installation (Fig. 2)
• This appliance should be placed on a
work surface at a minimum height of 85
cm from the ground.
• Place the appliance on a flat, even
surface away from any source of heat or
steam.
• Leave sufficient space between the
appliance and the wall, 5 cm for lateral
surfaces, 20 cm above the appliance
and 10 cm at the back.
• Make sure that nothing is placed on the
oven so as not to obstruct the ventilation
holes on the back of the oven.
• This appliance may be encased in a
furniture unit with the use of frames
specifically designed for this purpose.
Ask for one in the store if you wish to
have one.
• Take care that the power point is
accessible after installation.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Electrical connection
• It is essential to use a power point with
an earth terminal and which is
connected in accordance with the safety
regulations in force.
• When carrying out the electrical
installation, it is advisable to provide a
device accessible to the user which
should be able to separate the appliance
from the outlet system, the contact gap
of which is at least 3 mm for all poles.
• Do not operate the oven if the power
cable or plug are damaged or worn. If
this is the case, call a specialist service
engineer trained by the manufacturer.

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
This appliance is designed exclusively for
household use for cooking, warming or
defrosting food. In the event of non-
compliant usage, the manufacturer is
exempt from all liability.
• In order to prevent deterioration of your
appliance, never operate it empty or
without the tray.
• Before use, check that any containers are
appropriate for use in a microwave oven
(e.g. heat-resistant glass, porcelain, etc.).
• Do not put anything in the lock holes on
the front, as this could cause damage to
your appliance requiring intervention.
• It is not advisable to use metal containers,
forks, spoons, knifes, any metal
attachments, or staples for defrost bags.
However, occasionally you may warm
prepared food in low aluminium
containers (maximum 4 cm) without the
lid.
However, the warming time will be slightly
longer. In this case, be careful that the
container is well placed in the centre of
the glass plate and that it is never less
than 1 cm away from the metallic walls or
the appliance door.
• For children it is essential:
- when warming teatless bottles, shake
the liquid and test the temperature on
the back of the hand before the child
drinks it.
- in order to avoid serious internal burns,
mix and check the temperature of
children's food before consumption.
