These run the risk of exploding and
causing serious burns or irremediable
damage to your oven.
• In most cases it is recommended to
cover food as the food will be tastier and
your appliance will stay clean. However,
before cooking food or warming liquids in
a bottle or a hermetic container, you
should remove the cap or top to prevent
any risk of explosion.
• When warming liquids, boiling point may
be reached without the typical steam
bubbles rising to the surface. In order to
prevent boiling over or any risk of burns,
wait 20 seconds before taking the
container out of the appliance or
introduce an element to prevent the
liquid from suddenly spraying.
• In the case of small amounts of food
(e.g. one sausage or croissant), place a
glass of water beside the food item.
• Excessively long times may dry out the
food and carbonise it. To avoid such
incidents, do not use the same times
recommended for cooking in a traditional
oven.
7. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Regular maintenance of your appliance
will enable you to keep it in good
working order. To avoid the oven
becoming too soiled, in most cases it is
necessary to cover containers used.
• Use a damp soapy sponge to clean the
inside and outside of the oven and
around the door and the inside. The
area around the door and the inside
must be kept permanently clean. If these
surfaces deteriorate due to excessive
dirt, call a specialist service engineer
before using the appliance.
• It is not advisable to use abrasive
products, alcohol or solvents as these
may damage the appliance.
• If your appliance has a strong dirty odour,
boil water with lemon juice or vinegar in a
cup for 2 minutes and wash the walls with
a small amount of washing up liquid.
• To clean the appliance you may remove
the plate. To make it easier to remove,

entering the drive shaft hole. Remember
to return the drive shaft, wheel support
and plate.

What to do when?
• The oven makes a noise
• The plate does not turn properly
Clean the wheels under the turntable.
• The food fails to heat on microwave
setting
Check that the utensils used are

• The appliance produces sparks
Check that the wheel support is well
positioned. Clean the appliance well:
remove grease, fragments of food, etc.
Move any metal element away from the
walls of the oven.
• When you start cooking with the grill, a
small amount of smoke appears.
Remove any fragment of food from the
grill element.
