Walking Up Stairs
• During stair ascent, the device will raise the toe.
• Leading with the prosthetic side upstairs will provide stair adaptation after the second prosthetic step on the stairs.
• Leading with the sound side upstairs will provide stair adaptation after the first prosthetic step.
• When finishing the stair ascent and stepping onto level ground, it will take one stride for the device to adapt to
the level ground position.
Walking Down Stairs
• During stair descent, the device will raise the toe.
• Place the entire foot on the step.
• Leading with the prosthetic side when going down will provide stair adaptation after the second prosthetic step
on the stairs.
• When reaching the bottom of the steps, it will take one stride for the device to adapt to the neutral level ground.
Note: If socket pressure is felt during the stair response, the patient should contact their healthcare professional,
who may alter the stair response to decrease this socket pressure.
Relax Mode
• In RELAX MODE the forefoot is fully lowered to the ground to enable a more relaxed position.
• To return device to a neutral state, tap the foot on the ground.
• RELAX MODE is disabled by default. It can be configured in the Össur Logic Mobile App.
• When sitting it is recommended to activate RELAX MODE.
Chair Exit Mode
• When CHAIR EXIT MODE is triggered the device will move to dorsiflexion, enabling the patient to flex the knee
and place the foot beneath the chair, providing more controlled transition from sitting to standing. The ankle
will move back to neutral after the first step.
• CHAIR EXIT MODE function can be configured using Össur Logic Mobile App.
• If CHAIR EXIT MODE is enabled, exiting RELAX MODE will cause the device to move into CHAIR EXIT MODE.
• If RELAX MODE is disabled, but CHAIR EXIT MODE is enabled, the patient must first extend the leg (and
virtually enter RELAX MODE) before being able to enter CHAIR EXIT MODE.
• If RELAX MODE is disabled, but CHAIR EXIT MODE is enabled, the patient must first extend the leg (and
virtually enter RELAX MODE) before being able to enter CHAIR EXIT MODE.
Standing State
• While standing, the device operates like a normal energy storing and returning foot.
• While standing, flexing the hip and placing the prosthetic foot in front of the sound foot will cause the device to
enter RELAX MODE and move to plantar flexion.
• Extending the hip from the flexed position causes the ankle to move back to neutral position.
Kneeling
• When kneeling, the device will enter RELAX MODE, allowing for a more relaxed position with less excessive
knee flexion.
Driving
When driving a vehicle, the device must be turned off.
Caution: Inadvertent movement of the ankle may interfere with the brake and/or accelerator pedals during driving.
