14 TROUBLESHOOTING
Probable cause
Battery not charged enough.
Battery not connected.
Fuel cock closed.
No fuel flow.
Carburettor problems.
Forward speed too high in rela-
tion to the cutting height.
- Fuel tank empty.
- Try to restart the engine.
The cutting device sharpness
level is low.
Forward speed too high in
relation to the height of the grass
being cut.
The cutting device assy is full of
grass.
- Unbalanced cutting devices.
- Slackened cutting devices.
- loose components.
- possible damage.
"Disengage transmission" lever in
the disengaged position.

Remedy
Recharge the flat battery.
Check the connections.
Open the fuel cock.
- Check the fuel level in the tank.
- Check the fuel filter.
Clean or replace the air filter.
Reduce the forward speed and/
or raise the cutting height.
Fill the fuel tank (if the problem
persists, contact an authorised
assistance centre).
Check the tyre pressure.
Contact an authorised assistan-
ce centre.
Reduce the forward speed and/
or raise the cutting height.
- Wait for the grass to dry.
- Clean the cutting device assy.
Contact an authorised assistan-
ce centre for inspection, replace-
ment or repair operations.
