Before use

Remove all of the packaging material.
n
Before starting to use the coffee machine clean the measuring spoon (8), filter holder (4),
permanent filter (3) and coffee pot(10) with some warm water and washing-up liquid. Dry all of these
parts. Place the coffee pot on the warming plate in such a way that the water can flow througn the
inlet (14), the water can flow through the inlet (14), the permanent filter (3) and the opening in the
coffee pot lid into the coffee pot itself.

Conduct two percolating processes without using any filter coffee to get rid of get rid of any
production residue.
n
Open the lid (15) and fill the water tank (13) with clear water up to the maximum marking 10 or 12.
lnsert the plug into a suitsbie socket. Set the On/Off switch I/0 to position I. The operation light
illuminates. The percolating process has started.
n
After the water has percolated through the coffee machine, set the On/Off switch I/0 to position 0.
The operation light disappears. The machine is now switched off. Allow the machine to cool down
compleletly and then repeat the process a second time. Empty the water from the coffee pot after
the percolating process.
