Cycle sequence monitoring
The energizer has a cycle sequence monitoring unit to stop any undue energy being supplied to the fence,
cycle pulses failing and to ensure that herding security is maintained. The effect of the cycle sequence rate fall-
ing to under 1 second or for no pulses to occur for more than 5 seconds is for LED3 to flash in red. This could
be due to lightning strikes, continuous flash-overs at the fence and a defective energizer. The cycle sequence
monitoring unit operates to attain a preferably high degree of security - and fully independently of pulse gen-
eration. For this reason the display may be incorrect under certain operating modes. Send the energizer in for
repair if the cycle sequence monitoring indicates a fault either following an energizer restart or in the "Normal"
operating mode.
The CONTROL LED (LED1) lights up green when the energizer is working trouble-free. If the LED lights red,
there is a fault.
