14.- TROUBLESHOOTING:
PROBLEM
- The transceiver do
not power ON when
operate
[ON/OFF/Mute] key.

The
transceiver
doesn´t transmit or
the transmission is
poor quality.

The
transceiver
doesn't receive or the
reception
is
poor
quality.

In
the
communication
the
other user disappears
or
interferences
appear.
If continues the transceiver problems, consult with their salesperson or Technical
Service.
- Check the fuse and replace it if is necessary with another of its
same characteristics, first verify the CB transceiver connections if
there are some shortcircuit.
- Check that the DC power cable is connected correctly, red cable
(+) and black cable (-).
- Check the SWR of the antenna.
- Verify that the antenna is connected properly.
- Verify that the microphone is connected correctly.
- Press and hold the [PTT] of the microphone and speak into the
microphone with a normal and clear voice tone.
- Check that we use the same modulation type as the other CB
transceivers.
- Make sure you have selected a channel where there is a
communication.
- Check that the squelch setting is properly.
- Check that the volume level is correctly.
- Verify that the antenna is connected properly.
- Check the SWR of the antenna.
- Check that we use the same modulation type as the other CB
transceivers.
- Verify the programmed CTCSS/DCS codes.
You or the other user is in areas of poor RF signals
communications (e.g.: indoor a tunnel, among mountains, next to
high power voltage lines, etc.).
