Prime
With air pressure at zero:
1 Connect product hose with control valve
to material outlet. Direct hose into
appropriate container.
2 Place pump in product container.
3 Slowly supply air pressure to air motor.
4 Allow pump to cycle slowly until system
and product is free of air.
5 If pump does not prime, refer to
Troubleshooting, page 14 for details.
WARNING
Do not operate with leakage in system.
Disconnect air to motor.
Failure to comply may results in
serious injury.
Stall test
With air pressure at zero:
1 Slowly supply 35 psi (2.4 bar)
air pressure to air motor.
2 Operate control valve into container.
3 Allow pump to cycle until system and
product is once again free of air.
4 Shut off control valve.
5 Set air pressure 100 psi (6.9 bar).
6 Visually inspect pump for external leaks.
Pump should not cycle. If pump does not
stall, refer to Troubleshooting, page 14
for details.
Air leakage
Check motor for air leakage. If motor leaks,
refer to air motor manual 397871 for details.
