PTY (Program TYpe)
The PTY search function Jets you tune in
stations according to the type of programs
they broadcast (PTY search function). It also
provides automatic tuning for emergency
broadcasts (PTY Alarm).
PTY Search Function
After you select the program type you
desire, the tuner searches for a station
broadcasting the same PTY code as the
program type you selected.
To select the desired PTY code

Note
« CURRENT sets desired PTY to the program
type of the current station (only for RDS
stations broadcasting PTY information).
Press and hold the [PT] button for at least 2
seconds.
"PTY" lights up and the a program type
appears in the display for 5 seconds.
Press [<4] or [>] button to select among the
PTYs listed on the next page.
