Make sure that the power and charging plugs are installed. If not, contact
a specialized technician to install the connectors properly sized for the device
and the power supply. Make sure that the DC and AC charging cables are
in perfect condition before proceeding with the installation.
Make sure that the main socket to which the device will be connected is
properly grunded and protected by adequate safety measures.
Make sure that the device is suitable for the connected battery by checking the
technical data shown on the charger.Make sure that the device is positioned
in a place suitable for its purpose. Avoid placing the device in areas with sparks
and / or flames as the battery generates explosive gases during charging.
The environment in which the battery charger is installed must have
the minimum requirements to guarantee operator safety and the perfect
functioning of the appliance, therefore it must be: dry, ventilated and not dusty.
In relation to its degree of protection, the charger must not be exposed
to splashes of water or rain, dusty or humid environments. The battery charger
must not be installed in places considered dangerous in relation to the
processes present, such wood processing waste and other flammable
materials.
It is advisable to fix the battery charger to the wall using its appropriate holes
and to make sure the air inlet and outlet openings are not obstructed, in order
to favor correct forced cooling.
