4) Check the oil level of the pump.
Check the correct level through the opening on the rear or lateral side, as shown.
The ideal level corresponds with the centreline of the inspection window.
ATTENTION!
Never start the machine if there is no oil in the pump!

5) Connect the machine to the mains.
ATTENTION!
• verify that the frequency and the voltage of the machine correspond with those of the mains by checking
the plate on the rear of the machine.
• Insert the plug into a compatible socket: do not force it in if it is not compatible; use an adapter with suitable
characteristics.
• Check the data on the plate to verify that the power available from the mains is sufficient to power the machine.
• In three-phase machines, verify the direction of rotation of the pump. Proceed as follows:
• Insert the plug into socket with the machine OFF.
• Make sure the oil level in the pump is correct.
• Open the lid.
• Switch the machine on without changing any parameter: the base values are already set.
• Lower the lid by pressing it firmly on the two front corners and wait 4-5 seconds: if the direction of rotation is
correct, the depression in the chamber will be sufficient to keep it lowered. If the direction of rotation is incor-
rect, the lid does not remain lowered. In this case, immediately switch the machine off and contact a qualified
technician to invert the phases.
• The direction of rotation of the pump must be checked each time the three-phase plug is replaced.
