Warm-up phase: Stretching exercise
This phase not only helps stimulate circulation and warm up the muscles, but
also reduces the risk of cramps and pulled muscles. It is advisable to do a
few stretching exercises as shown. The muscle tension during each stretch
should be maintained for about 30 seconds. Stretch your muscles slowly,
without abrupt jerks and motions. If pain occurs, stop stretching immediately.
This is the stage where you put effort in. After regular use, muscles in your
legs will become more flexible. Work at your own pace. It is very important to
maintain a steady tempo throughout. You should draw up your exercise
schedule according to your own individual body and health. Consult a doctor,
and exercise at a moderate heart rate.
