Then restart the motor at a low pressure of about 10
PSI/0.7 Bar until there is no trace of solvent in the
exhaust air.
6.
Listen to the changes of the motor's sound.
Flushing is finished if it sounds smooth. If it
doesn't sound smooth, repair and maintenance is
needed.
7.
Relubricate the motor prior to putting back into
normal service use.
Ensure to disconnect air lines
before shutting down the air
motor.
Wear eye protection. Keep away from air stream.
Check all external accessories in good condition
before operation.
Service kit installation
The Service Kits contain vanes, shaft seal, bearing and
shims etc.
Refer to Repair Parts List pages 9 and 11 for Air
Motor Service Kit part number.
Disassembly and Rebuild:
1.
Remove the bolts with approximately 8.1 ft-lb
torque to separate the gearbox and the air motor.
2.
Use the proper sized wrench to carefully remove
the end cap from the motor with approximately 25
ft-lb torque. Then remove the end cap gasket. Refer
to fig. 1.
3.
Remove the drive end plate bolts with
approximately 3.3 ft-lb torque.
4.
Remove the drive end plate. Refer to fig. 1.
5.
Remove the non-drive end plate bolts with
approximately 3.3 ft-lb torque.
Remove the body and vanes. Refer to fig. 2.
