Battery Service
WARNING

instructions. Do not disassemble the battery for inspection,
maintenance, or repair. All service must be done by an

WARNING
Electrolytes from the battery can cause blindness and
burns. DO NOT use the battery if there is damage,
leakage or burns. DO NOT use the battery if you hear
unusual noises, see smoke, or smell odors. DO NOT use
the battery if the casing is cracked, gashed, bulging,
warped, or damaged.
Disposal and Recycling
Lithium-ion batteries must be collected and recycled
separately from other waste. Do not discard lithium-ion
batteries as municipal waste. Contact an Authorized Battery
Service Dealer for disposal and recycling instructions.
Seat and Ground Speed Control Lever
Adjustments
The seat and ground speed control levers should be adjusted
so that the ground speed control levers can be moved
through their full range of motion without contacting the
operator's legs.
Seat Adjustment
1.
Raise the seat.
2.
Loosen the adjustment hardware (A, Figure 24) under
the seat base.
3.
Slide the seat forward or backward to the desired
position.
4.
Tighten the hardware to 80 lb-in (9 Nm).

Ground Speed Control Lever Adjustment
1.
Loosen the ground speed control lever mounting
hardware (A, Figure 25) to adjust the levers forward and
backward.
2.
Remove the hardware to raise or lower the levers.
3.
Make sure that you adjust both levers so that they are
aligned (B, Figure 25).
4.
After adjustment is complete, tighten the hardware to 13
lb-ft (18 Nm).
