USB MODE
- Connect the USB device and the mode will be activated automatically. If the USB device was already
connected press the MODE button to select the USB mode. The voice-over will say USB MODE.
- Playback will start automatically once this mode is activated.
CONNECTION
IMPORTANT: it is important that the active speaker is properly cooled so make sure that the location where
it is installed has access to airflow.
- Make connections with all equipment turned off.
- Set the maximum volume (50% or 100%) and the operating mode (mono or stereo). For more information,
read the section RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LOUDSPEAKERS PLACEMENT.

- Connect the AUX or USB signal sources to the corresponding input. And connect the remote control IR
receiver (mandatory).
- Connect the active speaker's power cable without having the adaptor connected to the mains.
- Install the IR receiver in a visible place and the speaker in the ceiling by connecting both speakers via the
R SPK connector. Connect the R- with the passive speaker's black wire and R+ with the red wire.
- Connect the power and turn on the equipment. First the power sources and finally the KS-12B sound kit.
IMPORTANT: it is recommended to switch off the device when not in use to save energy and extend the
service life of the device.
