IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If you experience any of the symptoms of this condition,
immediately discontinue use and see your physician about
these symptoms.
 Store fuel in a container approved for gasoline.
 Store fuel in a cool, well-ventilated area, safely away from
spark and/or flame-producing equipment.
 To reduce the risk of fire and burn injury, handle fuel with
care. It is highly flammable.
 Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap
of the fuel tank or add fuel while the engine is running or
when the engine is hot.
 Wipe up any fuel spillage. Move 30 ft. away from refueling
site before starting engine. Slowly remove the fuel cap
after stopping engine. Do not smoke when refueling.
 Never attempt to burn off spilled fuel under any
circumstances.
 Stop the engine and allow to cool before refueling or
storing the unit.
 Never store the machine with fuel in the fuel tank inside a
building where ignition sources are present, such as hot
water and space heaters, clothes dryers, and the like.
 Never fill containers inside a vehicle or on a truck or trailer
bed with a plastic liner. Always place containers on the
ground away from your vehicle before filling.
 Empty fuel tank and restrain the unit from moving before
transporting in a vehicle.
 Remove gas powered equipment from the truck or trailer
and refuel it on the ground. If this is not possible, then
refuel such equipment with a portable container, rather
than from a gasoline dispenser nozzle.
 When fueling, keep the nozzle in contact with the rim of
the fuel tank or container opening at all times until fueling
is complete. Do not use a nozzle lock open device.
 If fuel is spilled on clothing, change clothing immediately.
 Never overfill fuel tank. After fueling, replace gas cap and
tighten securely.
 If the fuel tank has to be drained, do this outdoors into a
container approved for gasoline and away from all ignition
sources.
 Do not change engine governor setting or over speed the
engine.
 Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and
use them to instruct others who may use this product. If
you loan someone this tool, loan them these instructions
also.
